Job Openings
Laborer Position
- Applicant needs to be able to do the following,
- Handle loads of about 100 pounds.
- Run automated cut off saw.
- Handle oiling of machines.
- Collecting scrap from machines.
- Sweeping floors, trash removal, cleaning machines.
- Loading and unloading of delivery trucks with fork truck.
- Driving delivery truck, ½ ton pickup truck.
CNC Programmer, Tooling Specialist and Tool Crib Lead and Position
- The CNC Programmer will need to use Okuma One-Touch in conjunction with MasterCAM software to program CNC Vertical and Horizontal mills as well as two axis and multi axis lathes with live tooling and sub spindles.
- Strong knowledge of core machining principles, tool mechanics and principles, as well as 4th axis machining knowledge is necessary.
- A background of running machines on the floor is a major benefit.
- This position must be able to assist all machinists and operators in trouble shooting problems on the floor
- This position will maintain job programs and job files for repeat runs of the parts.
- CNC Machine tools used are Okuma, Haas, Mori Seiki, and Kitamura.
- This position will also design, fabricate, maintain and repair custom fixtures used to increase production and lights out manufacturing.
- Tracking tooling assets, usage, condition to minimize production downtime.
- Sourcing tooling from external suppliers, keeping up with new machine and automation technology and tracking tooling spend is.
- This position will also manage inventory, storage, kitting, distribution and collection of tools.
- Order replacement tools, depleted stock, custom ground tools and other purchased tools or services associated with tooling.
CNC Live Tooling Lathe Set Up Position
- The CNC Live Tooling Lathe person needs to have about 5 years of experience setting up and running live tooling lathes. Knowledge of Y axis is a plus.
- CNC Machine tools that they will used are Okuma and Mori Seiki lathes.
The job requires the person be able to edit programs at the machine. Main programming duties will be performed by the CNC programmer off line. - A strong understanding of G and M codes is a must.
- A strong knowledge of turning and milling tooling is required.
- Ability to problem solve is a must.
- Must be able to convey work instructions to operators and work with them in a positive manner.
- This is a first shift position, hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 with one to two hours of overtime per day.
CNC Mill Set Up Position
- The CNC Mill person needs to have about 5 years of experience setting up and running Horizontal and Vertical Machining Centers. Knowledge of 4th axis is a plus.
- CNC Machine tools that they will used are Okuma, Mori Seiki, Kitamura, and Haas.
- The job requires the person be able to edit programs at the machine. Main programming duties will be performed by the CNC programmer off line.
- A strong understanding of G and M codes is a must.
- A strong knowledge of milling tooling is required.
- Ability to problem solve is a must.
- Must be able to convey work instructions to operators and work with them in a positive manner.
- This is a first shift position, hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 with one to two hours of overtime per day.
Machine Shop Foreman
Key Responsibilities

- Production Oversight: Manage the day-to-day shop operations to ensure machine parts and assemblies are manufactured efficiently and meet customer quality standards and delivery dates.
- Team Leadership & Training: Supervise a crew of machinists, CNC operators and assembly personnel by assigning tasks, evaluating employee performance, providing technical training and mentorship.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control standards, ensure parts meet drawing tolerances and customer specifications, troubleshoot and resolve any nonconforming products.
- Equipment Management: Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, arrange for scheduled and emergency machinery repairs, help research, purchase, install and implement the use of new equipment or technology in the shop.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Enforce safety policies, maintain the proper use of shop equipment as well as PPE, and ensure a clean working environment is maintained at all times.
Qualifications and Skills

- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a machinist with proven supervisory and leadership experience.
- Technical Acumen: Ability to read and interpret complex technical standards, engineering drawings, and procedures.
- Machinery Knowledge: Hands-on expertise with CNC and manual machines (mills, lathes, etc.) an understanding of programming, tooling, and setup. A strong understanding of G and M codes is a must.
- Problem-Solving: Strong mechanical aptitude to quickly diagnose equipment or program malfunctions or workflow bottlenecks to minimize downtime.
- CNC Machine tools that they will used are Okuma, Mori Seiki, Kitamura, and Haas.
- This is a first shift position, hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 with one to two hours of overtime per day.
